Our Story

Hello and welcome! We are Julie and Katie, the two moms behind the baby store August Kinn. Before opening our store we were university roommates who became neighbours on the same street and then first-time moms just six weeks apart. August Kinn was born (shortly after our little ones arrived) from our shared obsession with scouting unique, well-made baby apparel and accessories. 

Located in our beloved east end Toronto neighbourhood on Danforth Avenue, August Kinn is an inspired space filled with our favourite selection of baby + toddler apparel, accessories and nursery accents. Plus gifts for grown-ups, too.

The name August Kinn comes from a simple, meaningful place. We share August as a birth month and were inspired by our families (kin) to open our dream baby store.
